How we met:
I met Jen in Nora Fretto’s car to go to my first women’s conference. She told the same story when she commented on Ryan’s post about me on friendproject, but this is how I remember it. It had to have been Spring – maybe April – and we piled into Nora’s car. I can’t remember who else was in the car, but I recall they were friends that I knew. And Jen joined in for the ride. I remember her saying that this was the first time she was able to leave little Erin at home and that she was excited and a bit nervous about the whole thing. She chatted it up in a car of ladies I don’t think she knew well at all. I don’t remember what we all talked about, but it was a blast.
Three things I appreciate about Jen:
1. Jen is an awesome mom. With three kids now, she epitomizes a woman who is totally vested in her children’s development. She rules at homeschooling and teaching her kids in all areas of life. And her kids are great to be around
2. Her sincerity. Jen truly cares about people and their lives. I can’t tell you how many times we have had meaningful and sincere conversations about things going on in our lives. I can be completely open and transparent with her and vice versa.
3. Her insight into Scriptures. She finds the profound where I couldn’t. I remember in our ladies discipleship group she was going through Samuel, a book I had never read at that point, and she would find the must interesting observations and gather such a rich understanding of what was taking place. Her mental adeptness is inspiring to me.
My favorite memory of Jen:
Well, I have many great memories of Jen. Having known her really well now for close to 3-4 years, we have shared in playdates, bible studies and coffee cups. But my favorite memory is when we volunteered in the nursery on Sunday morning. We would have such personal conversations and times of encouragement. I will never forget the discussions we would have about being a mom. When Erin was born, she had made the decision to stay at home with her. But only for a short while because for financial reasons it didn’t look like she could for a long period of time. And then the Lord began to provide, and provide and keep providing and she hasn’t needed to go back to work at all. Going on 7 years now I believe. On those Sunday mornings in the nursery she would encourage me in my career and at the time I was looking for work and wrestling with the desire to be at home with my kids. Her wisdom and counsel taught me so many things, gave me much perspective as a young working mom, and was a foundation block to my own stepping out of my career to be an at-home mom homeschooling my little ones. Her testimony of God’s provision for her family encouraged me to trust the Lord to provide. As I saw God bless her and her family for her obedience to being a mom, it inspired me all the more to step out in obedience. Jen Fee is an amazing woman. Get a cup of coffee with her if you ever get a chance.

Jen Fee – this woman encourages and lifts me more than she will ever know. She is ALWAYS uplifting – even as we might share struggles – her deep rooted joy comes to the top and makes me smile. I appreciate her sensitivity to those in ministry. As a pastor’s kid she is well knowing of some the challenges and pressures familiar to full time ministry and is always there to spur you on.
I love her family!!!! Her sweet sweet family. I love how she is raising up these kiddos and how she loves her husband. She is ultra nurturing to the point of always putting their needs over hers — EXCEPT with MoJo pork is involved – well, then, all bets are off and it every man and child for themselves…. Well, not entirely true – she might pass on some scraps.
Jen – I love your sense of humor, you love for Jesus and you determination to serve HIM with your all!!! Thank you for all your support and encouragement!

Fact: Jen Fee can recite all of the begat’s in the entire bible forward and backward, without breaking a sweat.
Okay, maybe not technically a FACT, per say, but it’s probably true.

Umm, James might not have done a Salt and Light study with me:) As flattering as that is, I can hardly remember names, let alone all the begats!
And you guys/gals are making me blush. Thanks for the kind words. So fun to have these sweet friendships that grow deep so quickly because of our common bond in the Lord. Looking forward to the Saulgood return to Clearwater!

Rachel nailed it on everything she said about Jenn. She is younger mom that this older mom can be encouraged by. She is relatable because she is real about every aspect of her life and how God is working in her life. I love Jenn and appreciate the woman, daughter, wife and mother she is!!

Jenn Fee has so many talents! One of them being the best homeschool co-op science teacher ever. She can dissect a frog like it’s nobody’s business.
I admire her passion and love for being the wife and mother God has chosen her to be.

I have to agree with all , and she is the best homeschool co-op science teacher, thanks to her, I don’t have to teach science! Wahoo! She has a passion for it and the kids and she is very honest and matter-of-fact.

I love Jen. I have (and I know this sounds weird) been really blessed seeing her go through all she’s been through with her mom’s cancer, her skin cancer, issues with Katherine, etc. Because where everyone I know, myself included, would complain or fall apart, she is calm and puts her trust in the Lord. I appreciate her honesty and have loved being part of bible studies with her because I get a lot out of what she sees in the scripture. Jen is rad.

I loved getting to know Jen last year at VBS in the nursery. She is an amazing role model of a christian woman, mother, and wife…Plus she is just plain hilarious! Love you Jen!

Jen really is an encouragement to all mom’s. I remember all the wonderful, practical advice that I received just by working in the nursery with her. She always has a positive outlook on life and is the first to offer a cup of coffee at her house to anyone who needs it. I really admire the way she deals with obstacles. She refuses to let it get her down. I can literally see the faith she has in the Lord and the peace that comes with it. She knows a lot about a lot and finds inspiration in every verse of the Bible. I think the thing I love most about Jen is her ministry of caring for others. The meal ministry and her care ministry that she says she hasn’t started yet (I disagree) are truly reserved for a strong, loving person. If someone’s in the hospital or sick Jen is there. Even on there deathbeds, some have had the privilege of Jen taking time to sit and read the bible with them, using up until their last breath to minister and witness. She is truly an AMAZING woman!
